The TNReady Spring testing window opens on April 17 for TCAP and EOC assessments. In accordance with the updated (TCA 49-6-60) law, Tennessee students will be allowed up to 20% additional testing time to complete an assessment if requested. Milan Special School District will have the optional time built in for any student who needs it to complete an assessment. You will receive more information about specific testing dates from your student’s school administrators as the testing window gets closer.
TCAP testing begins next week for many of our students. Please help our students do their best by not scheduling appointments during the school day to allow for students to be present for the test. Take a look at other ways you can help support your child. #MilanLife

National School Librarian Day is observed internationally on April 4. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They encourage students to pursue reading outside of academic texts. School librarians are also responsible for creating an environment where students are motivated to learn. National Assistant Principals Week, April 3–7, 2023, is a celebration of the unsung heroes in our education system.
