Pre-K Registration is still open. Packets can be picked up at MES office for income-eligible children who will be 4 years old by Aug 15. Please turn in completed application as soon as possible to be assured of a seat in PreK.

The Milan Special School District will conduct a School Board Retreat at MSSD Central Office at 1165 South Main Street Milan, TN on Monday, June 8, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Reminder: In observance of Memorial Day, all Milan Special School District offices are closed today, Monday, May 25.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and we are proud to celebrate the dedicated educators who prepare our students for success beyond the classroom. Through hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and industry-aligned instruction, our CTE teachers empower students with the skills, certifications, and confidence needed for college and career readiness. We are grateful for their commitment to innovation, excellence, and student achievement.

• Thursday, February 12 – Parent-Teacher Conferences (no school for students)
• Friday, February 13 – Professional Development Day (no school for students)
• Monday, February 16 – Presidents Day (no school)

Milan Special School District will observe remote learning days on February 5 and 6 due to hazardous road conditions.

Parents/guardians of students in Pre-K through 5 should have received a text and email with directions for their child. Students in grades 6–12 should check their email and Google Classrooms for assignments to complete.

During National School Counseling Week, we celebrate the incredible counselors who go above and beyond to support our students each day. Thank you for your compassion, guidance, and the positive impact you make in our schools. We appreciate our MSSD counselors this week and every week!
