Research based teaching strategies, including Q.U.I.L.T. (Questioning and Understanding to Improve Learning and Thinking), will be a focus of professional development.  Additional training will be provided in Differentiated Instruction.

Parents/caregivers of elementary level students will be offered literacy skills training by technology coach and parent involvement coordinator. Newspaper articles will be used to promote literacy.
