The characters are wonderful and they're easy to relate to! This book make me cry! It also has a surprise ending. There wasn't really anything I disliked about it. Rawls goes into great description throughout the book providing great visualization. The end of the book is awesome. It's a really fun read." The main character's job is to burn privately owned books that are hidden. At first, this society might seem wacko and strange, but after reading the book, I have learned that this society is not far from our own. This book will hopefully change the path our society is spiraling towards." A mother and her son drive their Pinto to a repairman's house out in the country. They say he's the best in Maine. The kid's father is away on a business trip. While the mother and son are at the repairman's house, the car wouldn't restart so they are stuck there. They come to discover that the dog living there has rabies. In the end, the boy dies." It's very sad, but sometimes they're the very best kinds of books because they trigger your emotions. I recommend reading this book!" The vivid depiction of the fantasy realms of Middle Earth are fantastic. It however does start of somewhat slow but once you get into it you'll be hooked. I also recommend The Two Towers and The Return of the King." Book rating: Reviewed by: Brad Age: 18 Book Title: The Twin Towers Author: J.R.R. Tolkien "Yet again Tolkien's vivid description of the world is wonderful. It begins where The Fellowship of the Ring left off so if you haven't read that one you'll be totally lost. I also recommend The Return of the King." Book rating: |
